Friends Lucy & Genevieve showed off their PARP spirit by Dressing for Success today!

Join us for PARP Night at the Village Library of Cooperstown, Wednesday, 3/20 from 5-8 pm. Special guest Author Daniel Jude Miller will be talking about his craft and organizing Makerspace activities for all ages. Please join us for the fun-filled event.

WKTV stopped by to talk with players and fans. Adam Ilgin and Will Friedman spoke about the importance of the student section during the historic state championship run.

Cooperstown was represented by 13 students who competed in the high school division for the State NASP Archery Tournament held March 15th at the fairgrounds in Syracuse. Hazel Lippitt earned the top score for the Cooperstown team with a score of 259 placing her 20 out of 97.

Cooperstown sends off the boys basketball team in fashion this afternoon. They will play in the Final Four tomorrow vs Greenport. Game time is set for 10:45 at Floyd L Maines Aren. See you all there!

High School students are on target as they prepare for the NASP state archery tournament being held this Friday, March 15th at the State Fairgrounds in Syracuse.

Congratulations to Will Weldon and Caroline Whitaker for having their artwork selected for the Catskill Review. The Catskill Review is an art and creative writing publication produced through Catskill Area School and DCMO Boces. The selection of work is very competitive and we are proud to have Will and Caroline represent Cooperstown!

It's time for Monsters in Cooperstown! To get ready for author Daniel Jude Miller's visit on 3/21, CES families are invited to participate in this family STEAM project. Bring your homemade monster in to Mrs. Gibson in the library anytime between now and 3/19.

Friday March 8 was the opening reception for "An Artistic Discovery" at the Cooperstown Art Association. Andrew Bowen and Ciera Emerick received awards for their work. Andrew received a Juror's Citation and Ciera received an Award of Merit. Other CCS participants included Caroline Whitaker, Sam Grigoli, Aislinn Donahue, Ellie Pink, Will Weldon, Jade Brotherton, Arthur Claveranne, and Eliana Torres. Recipients of the Awards of Merit will move on to the next round of the contest, where they will be competing against students from other counties in our Congressional District. "An Artistic Discovery" features artwork by approximately 100 students from Otsego County, representing an average of 8 schools as well as work by home schooled students. Three jurors selected by the Cooperstown Art Association and representing different areas of Otsego County will award six Award of Merits as well as additional juror citations. Stop in and see this exciting and fresh exhibit of work by the young aspiring artists of Otsego County!
