Congratulations to Ryan Lansing on signing his National Junior College Athletic Association Letter of Internet agreement today. Next year, he will join the baseball/cross country teams at Herkimer College and pursue a degree in Sports and Recreation Management.

CCS Jr./Sr. High Student Council participated in the “Stuff the Bus” Challenge hosted by Roser Communications, sponsor of Utica Communication Systems. Students competed against other area schools to collect new, unwrapped toys for area children in need. On Tuesday, December 10th Roser Communications stopped by CCS to "Stuff the Bus" with toy donations. CCS Student Council would like to thank all community members, families and CCS faculty/staff who donated to the challenge. Good morning. This is Dr. Crankshaw, superintendent of the Cooperstown Central School District. Due to inclement weather conditions Cooperstown Central School will open with a two hour delay today. The public referendum on the capital project will continue as planned. The hours for the votes are 7 AM to 8 PM in the junior senior high school. Please stay tuned - IF there are further decisions to be made on the opening of school, we will communicate them and advertise them close to 8:00 AM. Nevertheless, the public vote on the Capital project will continue as planned from 7 AM until 8 PM today and this evening. Please be safe.

Capital Project Referendum
On November 24th, CCS Litmag officers Kara Gildea, Eric Kukenberger, Peter Weil, and Lola Thompson presented the film “Utica: A Town That Loves Refugees,” filmed by last year's Media Team and Litmag, to a crowd of twenty Cooperstown community members. The CCS Seniors answered questions and spoke about their experiences making the film, issues refugees face, and passing the torch to the next group of CCS students coming up through future projects.
