Cooperstown Central School will host the 140th Commencement Ceremony for the CCS Class of 2019 on the lakeside lawn of The Fenimore Art Museum Sunday, June 30, 2019 at 1:30pm. Seating will be available for family and friends, with plenty of lawn space to bring portable chairs as well if you’d like. The outdoor graduation ceremony is open to the public. All are encouraged to bring umbrellas as the forecast is promising, but rain is possible. The outdoor venue is spectacular! However in the event of inclement weather, it will be announced by noon on Sunday should we need to move the ceremony to an indoor location at the Jr./Sr. High School. In that case, seating would be limited to four persons per graduate in an indoor ceremony, with overflow seating available via telecast indoors as well. We invite all to celebrate the CCS Class of 2019 and enjoy the spectacular outdoor venue behind The Fenimore Art Museum.

Please join Kristen Griger for an evening of orientation so that you can do your part to support Kid Garden throughout the Summer. Refreshments will be served for all adults and children who attend. Bring your work gloves to do a little weeding and sign up for a few days of weeding this summer. Not an experienced gardener? No problem! We can pair you with someone who can show you the weeds from the veggies. For more information about Kid Garden, please contact Kristen Griger at kristenmgriger@gmail.com.
