Thank you to the Leadership Training for Athletes Program for hosting a successful 4th Annual Student Athlete Leadership Conference on March 1, 2019. 36 School Districts were in attendance to make this the largest conference hosted.

The eighth grade class put on the Night of the Notables at the Cooperstown High School tonight. Mr. Snyder and the class showed off all their hard work as they presented their characters to parents and community members.




The Cooperstown girls basketball team had their Champions luncheon at Tully’s in Syracuse to celebrate their Sectional Championship. Coach Niles and captain Kate Trosset spoke to all the champions about the team’s success this season.



Cooperstown boys basketball team attended the Champions Luncheon at Tully’s in Syracuse today. Coach Lambert and son Jack spoke about their success this year and the value of team effort.



Kudos to third graders for their presentation at this week’s Community Gathering. Students shared what they learned about Jackie Robinson’s character and contributions to baseball and history. Thanks to the Baseball Hall of Fame’s Bruce Markusen for engaging students with his expertise and enthusiasm!


Your Section 3 champions. Cooperstown takes down a tough UAS team to advance to Regionals next Sunday in Binghamton.


Come out and support our boys basketball team as they head up to the Carrier Dome to play league rival Utica Academy of Science. Game time is scheduled for 1:45pm. The winner will of this game will advance to Regionals and play Section 4 champion Unadilla Valley next Sunday.


Cooperstown will be offering a spectator bus for all CCS students to the girls regional basketball game at Broome County Arena on March 10th, time TBA. The cost will be $10 and permission slips will be available Monday in the high school office.

Our Leadership Training for Athletes are putting on a great conference over at The Clark’s Soorts Center. They are hosting more then 200 students from 37 different schools. PJ Anadio from HCCC opened the conference talking about mental toughness and having the right mindset.


The girls basketball team brought home the Sectional title today at the Carrier Dome. Congratulations to Mr. Niles and the team.

All after-school activities have been cancelled after 4:00 p.m. Elementary School Homework Club and late bus are still offered. The 4-6 grade Hall of Fame Program has been cancelled. The Anti-Social Media presentation will be rescheduled. Please be safe.

Congratulations to Cooperstown’s Mikeeli Hanson who qualified and competed at states the past two days at Gore for Nordic skiing. She was awarded the Sportsmanship Award for Section 3 at yesterday's ceremony.
