Cooperstown Elementary School presents PICK A READING PARTNER 2021
“Connecting Through Stories” March 18 - 25, 2021
PARP is a school and community celebration meant to promote the love of reading and to give families the opportunity to share the joys of reading together. During the week, we encourage children to enjoy reading at home every day with their favorite reading buddies including parents, grandparents, babysitters, older siblings, cousins, friends, pets, stuffed animals, etc. Reading opportunities are everywhere: in print and ebooks, magazines, newspapers, recipes, cereal boxes, labels on cans, websites and more. This year, we’ve set a goal for each child to read at least 20 minutes a day with a partner outside of school during PARP! Let’s connect through stories by enjoying the many activities offered at home or in school.
