Speech Language Pathologist

The Cooperstown Central School District seeks a dynamic and innovative candidate for Speech Language Pathologist. Qualified candidates will possess appropriate NYS school certification in Speech/Language required (candidates who just completed a certification program will be considered). The Cooperstown Central School District is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Special Education Teacher for Elementary 1-6 and/or Secondary 7-12. This position is full-time, ten (10) month with an attractive salary and benefits package. Salary commensurate with experience. The successful candidate will work in a classroom for students with disabilities.

Current New York State certification in Students with Disabilities is required, additional certifications are a plus. Technology Education Teacher

The Cooperstown Central School District seeks a dynamic and innovative candidate for the Jr./Sr. High School Technology Education Teacher position.

The successful candidate will develop and advance students’ understanding of the technical world they live in, while developing an appreciation and an awareness of the role technology plays in everyday life. Class programs will include STEM focused, experiential learning opportunities through demonstrations, lectures, discussions, and student projects. It will be incumbent on the candidate to instruct students in the proper use and safe handling of tools and equipment utilized in the Technology Education classroom and laboratory. The successful candidate will deliver multiple sections of the Introduction to Technology Education curriculum at the 8th grade level. The candidate’s course load will be completed with high school electives focused on the application of STEM coursework, acquiring the necessary units required for graduation, and preparing students for successful careers beyond high school. Preferred skill sets include, but are not limited to:

· Proficient use of Instructional Technology

· Various Material Processing Skills

· CAD/Technical Drawing

· Robotics/Coding

· 3D Printing/Laser Cutting & Engraving/Vinyl Sign Cutting

· Design and Engineering

SUBSTITUTE STAFF

CCSD is actively recruiting hard-working, dependable individuals to be a part of our Substitute staff. Looking for applicants that are flexible with their hours and understand the potential for short-notice contact. All substitute positions are on an as-needed basis. Effective December 31, 2022, the pay rates are equal to the NYS minimum wage as set forth in the Minimum Wage Act (Article 19 of the New York State Labor Law) of $14.20 per hour for the following positions:

  • Bus Monitor

  • Custodian

  • Cook

  • Food Service Worker

  • Secretary (Office Support)

  • School Monitor

  • Teacher Aide

  • Licensed Teaching Assistant

Other Substitute Positions:

  • Bus Drivers – $28 per hour

  • School Nurse – $137 per day; must have an NYS Registered Nurse License

  • Teacher – $126 per day (certified)

  • Teacher – $110 per day (non-certified)

  • Teacher (Daily Long-term) – $148 per day (certified)

  • Teacher (Daily Long-term) – $116 per day (non-certified)
