Friday June 7, 2019 -  Cooperstown Central School students from Shannon Merwin’s American Sign Language Class have been working weekly with CCS Elementary 1st Grade students and faculty to teach American Sign Language through music. On Thursday June 6, CCS 1st Grade students performed before the entire CCS Elementary School and celebrated their newly developed skills in American Sign Language as they sang “A Million Dreams” from The Greatest Showman.  Many thanks to the CCS High School ASL students and faculty who collaborated with the 1st Grade team of Sue Bergene, Lindsay Hayes and Kim Wooden.
