This event included two rounds of competition. The first round challenged participants in a written test to evaluate the team’s understanding of forensic science. The top scoring teams advanced to round two where they analyzed a case study related to forensic science and provided written conclusions. Seamon and Pagillo both achieved a First Place finish in this competition.

Nursing Assistant Competition:

The purpose of this competition was to provide HOSA members with an opportunity to develop and demonstrate knowledge and skills in nursing assisting. This event consisted of two rounds of competition. The first round included a written, multiple choice test to measure knowledge and understanding in the subject.  The top scoring competitors advanced to round two for the timed and evaluated performance of selected skills identified in a written scenario.
