6th Grade Moving Up Days!!!
The 7th grade team will be hosting 6th grade moving up days on June 4th (Pep), 5th (Burke), and 6th (Siracusa)!!! This year moving up days will be over a period of three days with one third of the 6th grade attending each day, with their current 6th grade class. The 6th grade students will be paired with a current 7th grade student to be immersed in the middle school experience. Students may be dropped off or ride the bus to the Junior/Senior High School by 8am. Students will use their school identification number to purchase lunch in the cafeteria. They may bring a bagged lunch if they prefer. Sixth grade students will rotate through classes and lunch from 8am to 11:46am and engage in activities with their teachers and peers. After lunch, students will attend a brief presentation to review their course selections, schedules, and information regarding the Junior High School with Mrs. Miller. This will be followed by a panel discussion made up of current 7th graders where students will be able to ask any questions. All 6th grade students will be dismissed from the high school after the panel discussion at 1:15pm and return to the elementary school for the remainder of the day.
We look forward to seeing all of you!!!
