The Cooperstown National History Day students participated in the state competition on Sunday, April 15, 2024, at SUCO in Oneonta. The students competed against other regional winners from across New York State to determine the top two entries in each category who will move forward to the national event in June.
Congratulations to Nora Craig whose entry on Emmeline Pankhurst was recognized as the Outstanding Entry in Voting Rights. This special award was sponsored by the League of Women Voters.
The NHD Club co-advisors, Mrs. Hitchcock and Mr. Brotherton, want to recognize the students' hard work in producing and revising these projects (documentaries, websites, exhibits, and research papers) for each level of competition. Their months of researching, writing, revising, and producing are to be commended. Congratulations!
