Congratulations to Cooperstown students Avelene Barber and Punya Phaugat who both received certificates of merit in the high school division of the Student Research Award Competition sponsored by the New York State Archives. Using resources from their school library and regional archives, the ladies utilized information from historical documents and other research materials to complete their projects. Both students wrote historical research papers for their entries. The papers were evaluated on the quality of their research and written work for the contest. Congratulations!
