When school must be closed, released early, or be delayed opening, for any reason, the official announcement will be sent via Thrillshare, which posts to our District Website, District App, District Facebook Page, District Twitter Page, and District Calendar, as well as mass calling/texting. Guardians are signed up for this system as part of the Student-Guardian Portal registration process. Closings will be broadcast over several local radio and television stations.

Area media outlets are also contacted and they list closings and delays on their websites and in broadcasts.
