Congratulations to Cooperstown junior golfer Brayden Sentz on an outstanding performance at the NYSPHSAA Golf Championships last weekend!
Competing against 99 of New York state's top golfers, Brayden finished in 12th place overall, capping off another impressive season and his third consecutive appearance at the state tournament.
Cooperstown students will line the halls on Wednesday afternoon to celebrate Brayden's accomplishment and to cheer on our Hawkeyes track and field athletes as they prepare to compete in the NYSPHSAA Track and Field Championships on June 13-14 in Webster. Representing the Hawkeyes will be Marco Spinosa, Jameson Gable, Joey DeSanno and Sonam Gyamtso, with Dylan Craig serving as an alternate.
The celebrations will continue on Monday, June 15, at 6 p.m., when Cooperstown Central School District hosts a fire truck parade at Cooperstown Junior/Senior High School to recognize all of our student-athletes who competed at the state level this spring.
Congratulations, Brayden, and best of luck to our Hawkeyes track and field athletes!
