Students in Mrs. Snyder's American Law class recently attended the Oneida County Bar Association Law Day event at the Oneida County Courthouse. Students got to watch a mock trial performed by the Utica College Mock Trial team and hear from a panel of New York State Supreme Court justices. Scarlett Bong won the Law Day Essay Contest about the rule of law and the American Dream. Her essay was chosen from a pool of students from 12 different school districts across Oneida, Herkimer and Otsego counties. Congratulations, Scarlett!
