UPK and Kindergarten Registration: Informational Meetings for Parents/Guardians

We will be hosting a pair of Informational Meetings for our Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) and Kindergarten programs on Thursday, March 19.

To be eligible for the UPK program, children must reside within the Cooperstown Central School District and turn 4 years old on or before December 1, 2026.

As required by the New York State Department of Education, enrollment in the UPK program will be determined by lottery. The district will open one classroom, with a maximum enrollment of 18 students.

Meanwhile, to be eligible for the Kindergarten program, children must reside within the Cooperstown Central School District and turn 5 years old on or before December 1, 2026.

The UPK Informational Meeting and Open House will take place on:

Date: Thursday, March 19
Time: 5:00 p.m.
Location: Cooperstown Elementary School Library

At this event, you will have the opportunity to learn more about the UPK program, meet staff, and ask questions.

The Kindergarten Informational Night will take place on:

Date: Thursday, March 19
Time: 6:00 p.m.
Location: Cooperstown Elementary School Cafeteria
