Cooperstown Elementary Students Enjoy Inspiring Performance from Singer-Songwriter Jared Campbell
COOPERSTOWN – Cooperstown Elementary School students enjoyed a special visit from award-winning singer-songwriter Jared Campbell on Thursday, March 5, during two performances in the Junior-Senior High School Auditorium.
Campbell, who also visited Cooperstown last year, returned with his engaging and uplifting program that blends music, storytelling and important messages about kindness, resilience and character. Through interactive songs and conversation, students were encouraged to treat one another with respect and stand up against bullying.
Students in grades K–2 attended the first performance, followed by a second session for grades 3 and up. Throughout both performances, students eagerly participated, raising their hands, answering questions and singing along as Campbell shared positive messages about empathy and making good choices.
The program emphasized that everyone plays a role in creating a supportive school environment, leaving students with a powerful reminder that kindness matters and that bullying has no place in our school community.
We thank Jared Campbell for returning to Cooperstown and sharing such an inspiring experience with our elementary students.
