With his first win of the day on Friday at the NYSPHSAA State Wrestling Tournament, TJ O'Connor broke the school record for a career. TJ went 2-0 for the day, 194th win, on Friday and will wrestle in the Semi Finals of the 152 lb. weight class Saturday morning. Congrats TJ

Join the Battle of the Books and Library Clubs as they celebrate reading in 2024. Take the reading challenge and read a book a month this year. Everyone is welcome to participate. Together, let us create a community of readers in the classroom, libraries, homes, and towns.

Valentines Glow Dance on Friday! It’s free but glow sticks are being sold for $2 to benefit AOK. If you’d like to chaperone please call the main office. This is for 4-6 grade only. Pick up at 4:30. Come dance with us!

The Cooperstown Sports Booster Club is looking for new members and officers for the 2024-2025 school year and beyond. If you are a parent/guardian of an athlete you are encouraged to join the club to help support our student/athletes in the future. It would be much appreciated. February is National Kindness Month. As a way to give back to our local community, CFA will be collecting donations for the Warming Station in Oneonta.
You can drop off donations in Rebecca Sciallo’s room (Room 125) at the high school and there will be a cart for donations in the lobby of the elementary school.
Collections will begin 2/6 through 2/14.
Needed items include:
Waterproof gloves
Shelf stable meals and snacks
New warm socks
Juice boxes
Deodorant
New underwear
Dry shampoo

Congratulations to the Bowling team for winning the 2024 Center State Conference Championship.
Every year, the National Honor Society sells carnations as a fundraising event to spread the festive spirit of Valentine’s Day. Orders can be placed from February 6th through February 13th during lunch in the Jr./Sr. High School cafeteria. All orders will be delivered on Valentines Day! Payment can be placed in an envelope and checks should be made payable to: CCS National Honor Society. Thank you for supporting the National Honor Society at Cooperstown Central School! This Valentine's Day the Cooperstown Elementary School together with the Susquehanna SPCA invite you to Paws and Reflect. An all animal themed Art Show featuring work created by the student of Cooperstown Elementary school.

The CCS Music Department, along with FOMA, will present our annual Cabaret Night on Friday, January 26th at the Cooperstown Jr/Sr High School! Events start at 5:00pm and include student performances, a silent auction and dinner. Dinner must be ordered ahead of time. You can order dinner from any 7-12 band or chorus student or fill out the online form. Orders and payment are due by Monday, January 22nd.
Congratulations to the Cooperstown Quiz Team for the victory at the CASSC Tournament on Jan 9th!
Our two teams placed first and third overall in the 20 team tournament. Team Captain Srikar Ketharaju and the other team members Aaron Katz, Anders Green, Andrew Olski, Andrew Miller, Brian Zheng, Charles Vinuya, Jade Olinsky, Owen Nolan and Seton Davis Fralick brought home the trophy with their fantastic performance. The A team went undefeated through all 5 rounds of the tournament!
