NON-TEACHING POSITION

ATHLETIC COORDINATOR

The Cooperstown Central School District is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Athletic Coordinator. This is a part-time position requiring availability during the regular school day, in addition to after school hours. The purpose of this position is to provide interim leadership for interscholastic athletics and to plan for student participation in interscholastic athletics programs during the COVID-19 pandemic period in the school year 2020-2021. The annual stipend for this position is $15,945 (pro-rated upon hire).

SCHOOL BUS DRIVER

The Cooperstown Central School District is seeking qualified candidates for the position of School Bus Driver. This is a part-time, ten (10) month position with a competitive salary and benefits package. Successful candidate is required by NYS Law to hold a valid CDL Certificate License and be available during the hours of 6:30-9:30 AM and 1:00-4:00 PM Monday through Friday, when school is in session.  Job Description

Substitute Positions

All substitute positions are on an as-needed basis. The pay rates are equal to the NYS minimum wage as set forth in the Minimum Wage Act (Article 19 of the New York State Labor Law) of $11.80 per hour for the following hourly positions:

  • Bus Monitor
  • Custodian
  • Cook
  • Food Service Worker
  • Secretary (Office Support)
  • School Monitor
  • Teacher Aide

Other Substitute Positions:

  • Bus Drivers – $26 per hour
  • Licensed Teaching Assistant – $12.72 per hour
  • School Nurse – $95.40 per day; must have an NYS Registered Nurse License
  • Teacher – $105 per day (retired teacher)
  • Teacher – $106 per day (certified)
  • Teacher – $90.10 per day (non-certified)
  • Teacher (Daily Long-term) – $125 per day (certified)
  • Teacher (Daily Long-term) – $90.10 per day (non-certified)
