LITERACY (Reading) TEACHER
The Cooperstown Central School District is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Literacy Teacher. This is a full-time, ten (10) month position with a competitive salary and benefits package. NY State certification in Reading and/or Literacy is required. The successful candidate must have a solid background and training in reading instruction, including utilizing multi-sensory approaches for individual learning styles.
The successful candidate builds relationships with students and their families, enculturing academic success at the school. A Literacy Teacher must possess the ability to make decisions, be highly organized, professional, and firmly rooted in Data-Driven Instruction focused on results. The successful candidate must also know how to ask questions and where to find the answers; knows the reading progression and how reading skills are acquired. This individual has high expectations of him/herself and is continually reflective and continually learning.

TUTORING PROGRAM COORDINATOR
The Cooperstown Central School District is seeking a Tutoring Program Coordinator to oversee and coordinate all aspects of an on-site program offering academic tutoring and supplemental services to identified students in grades K – 12.
