How We Communicate Emergency Closing/Delay Information

With the onset of winter weather, we want to remind the school community about our closing/delay procedures and how they are communicated…

When school must be closed, released early, or be delayed opening, for any reason, the official announcement will be sent via School Messenger (our automated phone calling system) and will be posted on our school Facebook page and website Closings will be broadcast over several local radio and television stations. Refer to the School Closure Procedure section on page 5 of the District Calendar. Parents are signed up for this system as part of the Student-Guardian Portal registration process.
