I appreciate your patience as we waited for the most up-to-date information regarding New York State travel guidelines related to the pandemic. Many staff and families are looking forward to spending quality time resting and relaxing over spring break April 2 - April 9, 2021. We have been told the travel quarantine for domestic travel will be lifted beginning April 1st. The only thing they are asking is that when people travel, they continue to wear face masks, wash hands frequently, and practice social distancing. New York State is requesting that people complete the Traveler Health Form prior to returning back to New York State.
As with any school break, we are always concerned with the return to school as we do not want to see the number of cases increase. We are asking you to continue to be thoughtful of your choices and practices. We want to continue to stay in-person and while we are all getting tired of this pandemic, cases in Otsego County are staying elevated. Please continue to do your part and wear a mask, wash hands frequently, social distance, and avoid gatherings and parties.
Have a fantastic spring break.
