Several members of CCS Litmag acted in and attended Voices for the Voiceless, a play written by Kristen Jastremski and Jeannine Webster, to raise awareness for refugees seeking asylum in the United States. CCS Litmag members Alex Bohler, Emma Pastor, Sofi Jones, and Ray Hovis are pictured left to right at the event. Emma is editing footage from Voices for the Voiceless for an entry for the Stronger Than Hate Challenge. Sofi is entering the LEAF Art and Poetry Contest. Alex is collaborating with other club members on a submission to the Robert F. Kennedy Speak Up, Sing Out songwriting contest. Ray has been selected for the New England Young Writer’s Conference at Middlebury College in May, specializing in poetry. He is the fifth Litmag member/contributor to be awarded this prestigious honor in the past four years.
