A recent graduation from Cooperstown High School was featured in Gettysburg Magazine, a periodic publication of Gettysburg College.
Christina Noto, Class of 2015, was interviewed by the magazine because she was one of 79 students who earned the Gettysburg College Leadership Certificate. Noto is the daughter of Cooperstown history teacher Glen Noto.
The program involves students working with trained mentors in order to gain leadership skills. Noto was paired with Julie Ramsey, the college’s vice president for college life and dean of students.
“It helped me adjust to Gettysburg College and I am really happy that I chose to get involved….I would recommend all first-year students participate in it,” she said in the interview with the magazine.
