Students Use a Cart and Human Power to Learn About Physics

| January 3, 2017

Learning is often a fun,  interactive experience at Cooperstown Central School.

During a Physics Labatory earlier this year, students conducted an experiment using a cart loaded with students and pulled by other students. They collected data, analyzed the results and used the information obtained to explain the motion of the cart.

Teacher Joseph Powers said the students were able to demonstrate that whenever a net force is applied to an object, the object accelerates.
